Concerts SA Funders & Partners

Funders

The music community of South Africa owes the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Royal Norwegian Embassy gratitude for their generous contribution to the Concerts SA programme.

In the first decade of the Concerts SA project the  contributed core funding to ensure the growth of the project and for the project to achieve what it has.

The Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) hosted Concerts SA from 2012 to 2022, providing support for administrative and operational costs over the years.

SAMRO has agreed to continue supporting Concerts SA for the 2024 and 2025 years.

During the COVID-19 pandemic the National Arts Council of South Africa supported Concerts SA’s Digital Mobility Fund (November 2021), ensuring that numerous artists could continue creating during the extended lockdowns.
